- I am a Filipina mother with an infertility problem. To have another child is a constant emotional, spiritual and financial struggle for my husband Nonoy and myself. But I have already been graced by God with two beautiful children, 7-yr old Abby and my little angel in heaven, MAIA. I considered having Maia in my womb as an affirmation of God's loving presence in our family. Losing her so soon leaves me searching for an answer to the question: why did God made me go through all that pain?
